Introduction: The sparkling wine was created and designed to expand and complement Maison Pouget’s wine collection. In pursuit of providing different scenarios of enjoyment, this product offers a refreshing alternative that combines refined flavours and attractive sensations. From a base wine made from the Merlot variety, the wine undergoes a meticulous and careful production process, including ageing in barrels, keeping the vision of a high-quality product.

Visual Aspect: Beauty and finesse are the first impressions this wine conveys in the glass. Its refined and delicate bubbles stand out beneath salmon and onion-skin hues, creating a charming and appealing appearance. Impetuous and tempting.

Nose: On the nose, it is lively, fresh, and diverse. Its aromatic profile unfolds into a delightful spectrum, combining yeast-derived notes through toasted bread and nuts alongside hints of fresh red fruit and citrus, white flowers, and subtle spicy and herbal notes, resulting in a perfectly balanced and elegant composition. Rich in sensory complexity. It is both irresistible and refined.

Tasting Aspect: On the entry, the wine reveals an intense expression of flavors, driven by its fine, delicate bubbles, which create an exquisite and delicious textured mouthfeel. A remarkable freshness persists throughout, complemented by subtle creamy nuances and well-balanced volume, resulting in a juicy and appealing. On the finish, this wine is captivating, leaving a lasting impression with elegant persistence and fully expressing the character of a distinctive, refined, and unique sparkling wine.

Overall Assessment: A sparkling wine that brings together complexity, youth, freshness, and maturity. Serving Temperature: For optimal enjoyment, we recommend serving this sparkling wine between 8°C and 10°C. Once opened, it should be served promptly to fully appreciate its elegant movement in the glass.

Pairing: Its versatility allows it to be enjoyed across a wide range of occasions. Its profile and style invite enjoyment beyond traditional toasts, anniversaries, and special celebrations; it is equally suited to hearty breakfasts, brunches, and a variety of lunches and dinners, from fresh dishes to more bold flavors. It pairs beautifully with seafood, vibrant salads, paella, fish, and grilled white meats, as well as pizza, crispy sweetbreads, vegetable wok dishes, and sushi. It also complements desserts such as chocolate bonbons, lemon pie, raspberry truffles, and poached peaches in wine, among many other options that delight the senses.

Introduction: The Maison Pouget team set out with the challenge of crafting a Cabernet Franc capable of fully expressing its varietal identity. Ready to be enjoyed from the moment it is bottled, whilst promising a wonderful and delicious evolution over time.

Visual Aspect: In the glass, the wine displays an attractive concentration of intense reds, deep blacks, and garnet hues. Bright, with good clarity and liveliness, presenting an excellent development in relation to its vintage. Impeccable and beautiful.

Nose: Its aromatic profile is captivating, fragrant, and expressive. On the nose, it opens with notable complexity, revealing ripe black and red fruits, alongside fresh herbal notes of anise, mint, and rosemary. These are complemented by subtle hints of bell pepper and tomato leaf, as well as delicate spices such as white pepper and a nuanced touch of pink peppercorn, creating a harmonious and engaging aromatic profile. With time, as the wine breathes and settles in the glass, additional layers emerge, including toasted notes, vanilla, and hints of jammed or stewed fruit. Seductive, harmonious, and expressive define the nose of this wine.

Tasting Aspect: The entry is engaging, smooth, and pleasant. Firm, dry tannins are present, accompanied by a sweet, enveloping, robust, and refreshing mid-palate. ts progression across the palate is well defined, with a silky texture, good volume, and a long, persistent finish, creating a complex and elegant sensation that leaves lingering impressions of caramelized fruit, herbs, and spices. A compelling and distinctive expression that offers a dynamic interplay of sensations, bringing pleasure while respecting its authentic varietal and regional character.

Overall Assessment: A wine of identity and character, inviting the senses to explore and fully appreciate the delights of Cabernet Franc. Its structure reflects the varietal profile, allowing it to develop naturally whilst ensuring elegance at every stage. A compelling expression designed to engage and captivate discerning drinkers who appreciate complexity and are willing to take the time to enjoy it.

Serving Temperature: For optimal enjoyment, we recommend serving this wine between 12°C and 14°C and allowing it to breathe in the glass once opened, for at least 20 minutes, to fully develop its expression.

Pairing: This wine offers a wide range of gastronomic possibilities for enjoyment. The possibilities are endless, from appetizers and main courses to desserts, and even for enjoyment on its own, outside of a dining setting. Preparations, cooking methods, ingredients, and accompaniments can either complement or enhance the overall experience. Suggested pairings include grilled, oven-roasted, or cast-iron-cooked red and white meats, traditional homemade empanadas, a selection of semi-hard cheeses, roasted vegetables, Middle Eastern flavors, river fish, and desserts such as chocolate-based creations, truffles, fruit compotes with cream, and quince paste with nuts.

Cellaring: Drinking exceptionally well at present; however, under proper storage conditions, it is expected to continue evolving for at least 15 years from the vintage, maintaining a high level of sensory expression throughout its development.
